Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy is a treatment approach that incorporates exercises, movements, and lifestyle training that is designed to decrease the symptoms resulting from inner ear deficits. This approach helps the brain to re-calibrate or compensate for symptoms including vertigo, dizziness, disequilibrium and balance problems that are the result of dysfunction with the vestibular organs (inner ear).
Treatments can include oculomotor (eye) exercise, visual fixation techniques, balance training, epiley maneuver or habituation exercises.
