Justin Martindale - President & Chief Medical Officer
PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS, FAAOMPT
Dr. Martindale founded Promotion Physical Therapy in 2005. He currently operates as the Chief Medical Officer and possesses over 17 years of experience in orthopaedic manual physical therapy. He is board certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and he successfully completed a three-year fellowship program to become a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists.
Autumn Martens, Senior Clinical Director
PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Dr. Martens was born and raised in Northern California. A President's Scholar, she graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with an option in Human Physiology. Dr. Martens continued her education at the University of Delaware where she completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her clinical rotation at Walter Reed Army Medical in Washington DC is where she developed her love for working with patient's who have had an amputation. In 2015, Dr. Martens completed a three-year fellowship program for Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy, receiving the title of Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
Ashley Belrose, Clinical Director
PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Dr. Belrose received her Bachelor of Applied Health Science degree in 2009 from Bowling Green State University. She attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012. Dr. Belrose has completed a three-year fellowship program for Orthopedic and Manual Physical Therapy, receiving the title of Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy.
George Gagot, Physical Therapist
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Dr. Gagot received his Bachelor's in Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin. In 2014, received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
Megan Sette-Cordova, Physical Therapist
PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Originally from Tucson, AZ, Dr. Settee-Cordova attended the University of Portland and graduated in 2010 with her Bachelor of Science in Life Science. Dr. Sette earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ in 2013. She is currently working towards completing a three-year Fellowship program for Orthopedics and Manual Therapy.
Samantha Hansen, Physical Therapist
Dr. Hansen is from the wonderful city of San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Hansen became a physical therapist to provide healthcare in a setting where she is able to really spend time with the patient, get to know them and understand them. Dr. Hansen feels this is the best way to create real change in a persons overall health.
Giovanna Nuanes, Physical Therapist
Dr. Nuanes was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She completed her undergraduate at the University of Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training in 2012. She moved on to collect her Master of Science in Athletic Training in 2014 from Texas State University. Dr. Nuanes completed her Doctorate in December of 2016 from The University of Texas at El Paso in El Paso, Texas.
Rebecca Espey, Physical Therapist
Dr. Espey was technically born in Dover, Delaware, but claims San Antonio as her home. She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Motor Control and minored in Psychology. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Health Science Center San Antonio (now UT Health San Antonio).
Danielle Suarez, Physical Therapist
Dr. Suarez calls San Antonio home. She studied her undergrad at the University of Incarnate Word and earned a degree in Rehabilitative Science. She received her Doctorate from Texas Woman's University in Dallas in May 2017.
Jacob Dybdahl, Physical Therapist
Dr. Dybdahl’s motivation for becoming a physical therapist stems from his multiple years of participation in endurance athletics both academically and recreationally. Jacob enjoys assisting his patients in optimizing their function so they can return to work and other day to day activities.
Travis Wilson, Physical Therapist
Dr. Wilson found that he resonated well with making a difference in people's lives and wanted his career to reflect that. Dr. Wilson received his Doctorate in May 2018 from UT Health in San Antonio.
Ana Lionel, Physical Therapist
Dr. Lionel attended The University of Texas at El Paso where she completed her undergrad and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. Dr. Lionel became a PT to seize the opportunity to work closely with people and help them return an active lifestyle. She truly enjoys getting them back to a life they love.
Megan Ryan-Ogden, Physical Therapist
Dr. Ryan-Ogden is originally from Chazy, New York. She received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Vermont. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2018 from Clarkson University. Dr. Ryan-Ogden was inspired to become a PT because she has competed in Irish dance since the age of 5.
Justin Papke, Physical Therapist
Originally from Austin, Texas Dr. Papke finished his undergrad at Texas State University. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2019 from Texas State University also. Dr. Papke has always been interested in the human body and improving movement through exercise. "This is a field in which I can work with these areas and help people get back to what they love to do with less pain."
Tamara Weaver, Physical Therapist Assistant
Tamara Weaver is from Baltimore, Maryland. She studied her undergrad at Montgomery College, Takoma Park MD receiving her A.A.S. in 2017.
