Dr. Ortiz was born and raised here in San Antonio and attended Schreiner University where he was a member of the men's tennis team. He graduated with his Bachelor's in Exercise Science and then went on to get his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of the Incarnate Word in 2022. Dr. Ortiz enjoys playing competitive sports and being active outdoors, especially if it includes water and a fishing pole. His love for physically demanding activities led to his passion for promoting rehabilitation within his community.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Ortiz enjoys playing tennis, pickleball, going for an afternoon hike, and spending time at the Texas coast.
