Andrea Kling, Physical Therapist
PT, DPT, CAFS
Dr. Kling is from Wisconsin. She studied at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where she received her undergraduate degree. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2015.
Dr. Kling originally worked in pharmaceutical research and development, but her husband's career had then moving frequently. When she found herself in Del Rio, Texas, she had the opportunity to become friends with several physical therapists within the community. She began working as a physical therapist technician and became enamored by it. Having the privilege of participating in an individual's process to improve the quality of life was inspiring.
"I cannot think of anything more rewarding than the joy I get from watching patients graduate and get back to the things they love doing."
Dr. Kling loves to be outdoors when it's not so hot. Her perfect day would be spent on a mountain, in a lake, or at a Beach. Before kids, she enjoyed international travel, and had amazing opportunities to see some amazing parts of the world. Some of those included, scuba diving in Indonesia, white water rafting down the Nile river, paragliding off the Swiss Alps, and trekking through the forest of Uganda searching for chimpanzees. However, the past decade, has been filled with kids soccer games and football Sundays.
